Home School Support Worker
Supporting our families at Luton Infant and Nursery School
Mrs Liz Tufnail is our dedicated Home School Support Worker at Luton Infant and Nursery School who liaises with and supports all of our families. Liz’s role is to help families with anything they are finding difficult or are having problems with, for example issues relating to behaviour of your child/ren, school attendance, housing or debt worries, housing or council tax benefit, medical or health related concerns, worried your child may have some difficulties with their learning, changes to family circumstances etc. If any of this sounds familiar, then talk to Liz either on the playground in the morning, call in to the school office or by telephone. Appointments are not normally needed.
Liz visits all new children joining our school outside of the usual nursery and Year R starting dates. This visit provides an opportunity for you and your child to meet Liz in your own home and share information about your child and ask any questions you may have.
Liz can be found most mornings on our main playground and is available to talk to or ask any questions that you may have about your child, family or circumstances. If you would prefer to contact Liz in a more private setting and time then please contact her on the email below or telephone the school office to make an appointment. Liz always enjoys a cup of tea and a biscuit and getting to know new families so please don’t be shy!
